This is a two year old gray gelding. Arrived with an 8 day old rope burn on the right hind angle of
pastern. This horse received two Lacerum l treatments four days apart, using the same platelet
concentrate. Prior to treatment, the wound was washed thoroughly with saline. The wound was
covered with a Tega-sorb dressing and stabilized with Vet-wrap. No further treatment was
required. The horse went on to complete healing and showed no scarring.
